Vinted Users Share Displeasure Regarding Size Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Changes
Before the change, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
A different user, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
